For decades, Black, Indigenous and People of Color have longed to see themselves portrayed in prominent, positive and important positions in mainstream media. And though there have been a few, with nearly 40% of the U.S. population being Black and LatinX, it’s still not enough. DominiRican Productions aims to create a space that offers improved and advanced opportunities for BIPOC artists where they might not have existed before. Our company is currently in pre-production on our second narrative short, “American Made” which stars Broadway’s Jared Dixon and Pierre Jean Gonzalez. We are reaching out in hopes that you can help us raise funds to meet our goal of $4,000USD. With a streamlined budget, we will use these funds to cover the cost of equipment rentals and payroll. As we aim to have a crew made up of a diverse, cross section of our industry, we are pledging to pay a fair and reasonable wage to this underutilized demographic. We are looking for donations, funding, words of wisdom and will always accept a friendly “good luck”! Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
With gratitude,
DominiRican Productions
